Dr Mohora Feida Malebatja

Mohora Feida Malebatja is a Lecturer in the Department of Public Health within the Division of Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences at the School of Healthcare Sciences. Before transitioning to academia, she held several leadership roles in government, including Chief Development Expert: Water Boards Oversight, Manager: Water Services and Sanitation, and Covid-19 Epidemiologist.
She holds a PhD in Public Health from Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University (SMU), a Master of Public Health with a specialization in Environmental and Occupational Health from the University of Pretoria (UP), a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Health (SMU), a BSc Honours in Environmental Technology (UP), and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Limpopo (UL).
Dr. Malebatja is actively involved in teaching, curriculum development, and supervising Master’s-level research. She has authored eight research articles published in various international peer-reviewed journals.
She contributes to departmental and school-level committees and has led multiple community engagement and public participation initiatives. She has also served as a session chair, judge, and organiser for numerous research webinars, training sessions, and workshops.
