Dr Lerato Pitso is a Medical Doctor and Public Health Medicine Specialist. She is a seasoned health leader with more than 15 years’ experience in the public health sector.  She views herself as a teacher yet still a student of life which is evident in her current joint appointee position as Senior Lecturer in the Department of Community Health and a Medical Specialist at Dr George Mukhari Academic Hospital. In Addition, she is also the Academic Coordinator for the Master of Medicine in Public Health Medicine at Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University (SMU).
