Dr. Raikane Seretlo is a dynamic and forward-thinking public health professional with a strong foundation in nursing, midwifery, and maternal and child health, complemented by experience as a Clinical Application Specialist in the digital healthcare sector. His multidisciplinary background enables him to bridge the gap between clinical practice, academic inquiry, and digital innovation in health.
Currently serving as a Lecturer in the Department of Public Health at Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University, Dr. Seretlo is passionate about digital transformation in healthcare, innovation, and advancing equity in sexual and reproductive health, with a particular focus on LGBTQIA+ communities.
He is actively engaged in research supervision and the implementation of youth-led and community-based health initiatives. His expertise spans sexual and reproductive health, HIV prevention, PrEP, and STI-related interventions. Dr. Seretlo is experienced in teaching and supervising postgraduate research and has led several applied public health projects. His research skills encompass qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods approaches, contributing to a growing portfolio of impactful, equity-driven work in the public health sphere.
